Finally got a response from ARM of Florida

Dear xxxxxxx
ARM is a third party debt collection agency, and as such during the course of usual business routines encounters customers who are less than satisfied with the interaction with our representatives. Our buisness is not one of customer service: however we strive to be professional in every aspect and effective for the clients that we service.
mr xxxx states in his complaint ARM has attempted to contact he and his references for a debt he has with a compay not licensed to lend money in the state he resides and operates illegally. mr xxxx borrowed money from an internet loan comany.
mr. xxxx further states in his complaint the debt has been resolved with the original creditor, he no longer wants to recieve phone call or threats from ARM. I have contacted my client, the original crditor, regarding mr xxxxx claim that his account was resolved. and to this date has never made a payment on his loan. I have placed mr xxxx account in a "cease and desist" status and there will be no further calls made to mr xxxx or his referrences.
mr xxxx is seeking a letter of apology and a letter stating his account is now closed with ARM. ARM has done nothing to warrant issuing an apology to mr xxxx. I have mailed mr xxxx a copy of the contract and is account will remain in a cease and deisist status.
Arm prides itself in professional conduct and adhering to all state and federal laws regarding the collection of delinquent debts. ARM performs back ground checks on all new hires and is very selective in the interview process to ensure professional debt collectors join our organization. In fact all associates are tested on the FDCA on a quarterly basis, all new hires must take and pass the FDCA before placing any collection calls.
I totally see what they are trying to do. this particular debt in question was included with my consolidation program so it will be paid off soon. but i will not give a penny to arm. i left out a few paragraphs where they are qouting "governing state laws". my question is do i dispute the claim or let it go.
Debts
You have two choices when it comes to debts, pay them or avoid them and face more debt with the legal system. My suggestion is to contact all of your collection agencies and creditors and work out payment plans ASAP. These days lawyers LOVE to take your money and then you still have to pay these bills

All because a person says that a company violated the law doesn't make it true.
The mentality of the american is why this country is where it's at now...say goodbye to the hayday of USA, we are now a country of "not my responsibilty" citizen mentality. Lawyers thrive in this enviroment, until no one has anything left to pay them...we all go down.

for real, the debt in question is included with my debt consolidation program and is scheduled to be paid off soon. they are lucky i didnt just blow them off with their illegal operation, charging way more interst than my state allows. but i thought hey i borrowed the money i am going to pay it back. so when i tried to make arrangments with them i had 2 choices, either pay in full, or continue the intrest cycle. i couldnt afford to do either one at the time so thats why i joined the consolidation program to ensure they would get paid. and they have all the paper work but they told me they dont deal with anyone except the person who took out the loan. i replied back asking what was going to happen when the company calls to pay them the money i owe are they going to refuse it. i never got a response. oh well it will all be over soon enough.
