New checking account

I ordered my new checks from a mail order service and haven't had any problems. (knock on wood). i think the way the usually get you new info is if you apply for another loan, they somehow get it from the new co...

Just a silly question...

If you have had issues with "unauthorized" debits from your account by PDL's, why would you give your banking information to an unknown company to order checks just to save a few bucks?

The actual answer is, no, they will not be able to get your bank info this way. They may not respect licensing and collection regulations, but they are not good enough to intercept your bank information on the internet.

Who said the company was "unknown". There are a lot of check places on the internet that are well known.

If I were you I would google the company and see if there are any complaints against them before ordering. Also check the BBB as well.

Order checks from Walmart. They're cheaper.

Checks Unlimited is a good company. You can order by phone or the internet...I prefer my the phone. Also, asked about privacy when selecting a reputable company.
