CTC is not a legal lender in California. I have overpaid them by $141.00 (even after allowing the 15% fee which is max in CA)
After several faxes and emails requesting they respond, I finally received the following email
"Thank you for your email. Your file has been reviewed and any issues pertaining to the repayment of outstanding loans are handled by the Payment Services Department. Please call toll free 1-888-740-2274 and a Payment Service Representative will be able to assist you further.
Their hours of operation are Monday to Thursday 8:00 am tp 8:00 pm CST and Friday 8:00 TO 7:00 PM CST They are closed on weekends.

Nah, that's just one of those automatic emails they send to everyone, as long as you have protected yourself (sounds like you have), I wouldn't waste my time, they will probably just threaten you with some bogus claim and you don't need it.

Make sure if you have an HR department that the wage assignement
Make sure if you have an HR department that the wage assignement is also revoked in the letter and give a copy to your HR. Cash Transfer Centers is one that tries to do the wage assignment and you don't want to be surprised and get hit with it coming out of your check.
