Vital recovery called me
Date: Fri, 02/27/2009 - 10:40
They left a message on my answering machine and the lady left her name and the name of the company and this has been going on for a few weeks. They stated that a claim has been filed against me and I need to call them ASAP.
I called back and they told me what it was for. I told the lady my income is exempt, I have no assets and I am going to file for bankruptcy next month. She told me that it doesn't matter if I am on SSDI, they can still take my money, I laughed at her and told her to look up the laws. Then they put me on the phone with a Mr. Adams and he has a really deep threatening voice, lol.
He said no one is threatening to sue me and I told him the message I have recorded said they have a claim filed against me. So he said it better not be a stall tactic with the bankruptcy remark and he put the account on hold till I call back with the bankruptcy information. I told him if they try to sue me, they are wasting their money cause I am execution proof and nothing can be taken from me., he didn't like that very much.
Is that a violation of the law saying a claim is filed against me on my answering machine? Not that I really care, just wondering for future reference for others.

She said a claim was already filed against me and that it was on her (Miss. Moran) desk. That is the message on my answering machine. She said I had to call back ASAP.
The only reason I called is because I do have a judgment against me from LVNV and I thought maby it was sold to Vital. Apparently they are calling on a repoed car which is within the SOL still.
