Obama Housing Plan

I spoke with my mortgage broker today. March 4th the guidelines for the housing plan will be released. He told me that I should be able to refi even though I owe a little more than the current value of my home! That is good news.

it is good news for people who are in or close to foreclosure, o
it is good news for people who are in or close to foreclosure, over 60 days late, or are "under water" in their current mortgage. It's not good news for those who don't fit those guidelines ... the lending rules are even stricter than ever before, banks simply aren't lending money to "regular" people.
