Several PDL Questions
Date: Sun, 03/01/2009 - 15:52
Has anyone worked with a "debt" management company to get the legal PDL paid off. Do they work with debt management companies at all.
There was a link somewhere that I saw that provides a list of licensed PDL companies for the state of Minnesota, but I can't find it again. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
I have been getting mixed responses. If they are licensed in my stated but have violated Minnesota state laws, are my loans that illegal.
For example, they can't loan over $300. 2 of the 3 have. They can't rollover, all of them have. So does this mean the PDL was illegal and I only owe for the principal and not finance charge.
Any help is appreciated.

It doesn't necessarily mean they are illegal, it just means they violated the law and should be reported to the FTC for doing so. Which pdl companies are you referring to?
