I have way too many payday loans & I am a the point where I need payday loans to pay previous payday loans! I dont know what to do --I live in NJ and i have contacted "Langhorne" but havent connected with the rep yet-- Can anyone help?

I'm sorry that was completely uncalled for and out of line. You don't know each and every persons story here. People fall on hard times and take desperate measures IT HAPPENS! You shouldn't kick people when they are down. I guess we can't all be as perfect as you THINK you are. God help the person who comes to you for help. Stay off of these boards and go back to your perfect debt free existence.

And to answer your original post (sorry I got distracted by certain asinine people) you need to do what you can to take control. I am in the middle of putting down the shovel and climbing my way out of the hole I dug for myself. And yes i acknowledge I got into this mess out of my own free will and I'm sure you did to. I mean come on no one put a gun to our heads and forced us to get PDLs. But we did. There's no since dwelling on the past because we can't change it. Focus on what you can change and get control one baby step at a time. If you want to get out of debt yourself, good luck with a little hard work and patience you can do it. Me, I choose to go with a PDL consolidation company. I just felt more comfortable turning it over to a professional than trying to handle it myself and was willing to pay for it. No matter what, good luck and people here will always be here for support and advice.

You can go here and read up on dealing with illegal lenders.

Since you account is closed the first step is done.

I would search the forums and get all the addresses or emails for each lender. Then draft up a letter to each one. You can mail them USPS via certified mail, fax and email. Do NOT use your work fax.

You should also draft up a wage revocation letter and submit that to payroll/HR.

You can do this. You have the law on your side and since they all illegal they can not do anything to you.

It takes some effort and time but we are here to help and ask as many questions or advice that you want.
