I just got back from the bank. I was a bit distressed at somethings.

1. They couldn't tell me who the ACH processor was. They said I don't need that as long as I am closing my account.

2. They stated that as long as I closed my account and locked everything out that the companies couldn't get at any of my money. They further stated that if I closed my account there would be no fees incurred when the companies tried to take the money.

My question is do I need to do anything else as far as locking out money. Do I send the revocation of ACH anyway. If so, what day do you suggest I fax them or email.

Do I need to do a revocation of wage assignment. I wasn't if I needed to. I think my employer would be okay about dealing with me on this.

Sorry for the tons of questions.

It sounds like your bank has it locked down which is good.

I would still send the ACH and at least three days before the ACH is due to come out.

I only emailed mine but some do both and USPS mail as well.

I would revoke the wage assingment with the lender and you can send one to payroll as well.

It is better to cover all bases up front then kick yourself for not doing it later.

Go ahead and send that wage assignment revocation to your HR dept first then the PDL companies. Also send all ach revocation letters by certified mail, email, and fax if possible. Please do not fax from your place of business to save on any unwanted replies from the PDLs.

Last your account should be fine if it is secured and closed by your bank. Open a new account and do not give that information to any online lenders. If you want you could open a new account with another bank. Best of Lu :) ck!
