The top message is saying there is not a legal way to collect on a payday loan debt? why is that? I finally got a call from a collection agency for cashtransfercenters I defaulted after a YEAR of being stuck with them re-loaning, but the collection company wouldnt give me their mailing address, I want them to stop calling my work, I told them today not to call my work, but its just verbal, nothing binding. Also they wouldnt work the payment arrangements i said i could afford and said i have 48 hours to tell them whether or not i can pay them their lump sums.

CTC is illegal and that is why they harrass people instead of taking them to court. They will never show their illegal face in a court of law.

If this has been sent to a collection agency then you can pretty much bet the CA is also illegal.

I assume you are in the US? If so what state?

What was the name of the CA?

I would tell them no address, no payment!

If you do get an address then send them a debt verification letter and if that does not work send them a cease and desist letter.

I will tell you that even if you send that they may not stop. Illegal lenders and their illegal collections do not usually follow the rules.
