I reside in Arizona and the following are my internet payday loans: CashNetUSA.com original loan 1-30-09 for $500
CashCentral.com original loan 2-10-09 for $300
Unitedcashloans.com original loan 12-30-08 for $500
Thinkcash.com (first bank of delaware) original loan 9-18-07 for $1750.00 refinanced 1-18-08 for $1800.00 pay $95.87 twice a month
Cash Call -original loan 4-1-07 for $2600.00 pay $216.55 monthly
What can I do to stop paying the fees and get down to just paying the principal? I have read some posts that say to close my bank account and send letters requesting them to stop ACH - but not sure I can do that legally in AZ. Please help!

Cashnet USA is legal and I have read that you can make payment arrangments with them.

ThinkCash and CashCall or installment loans so the PDL laws do not apply to them.

CashCentral is legal and they are a member of CFSA which means you can request and EPP, Extended Payment Plan. They can break out the loan into four equal payments over four paydays. All fees and interest stop once you are in the payment plan. You must not have defaulted and you need to request an EPP at least one day before the loan is due.

United Cash is illegal. You only owe the amount you borrowed. All fees or rollover payments you have already made are counted as going towards the balance. You can go here and read the information on dealing with illegal lenders.

Thanks - I don't understand the AZ law very well - but it states that pdl in AZ are legal, so is there not anything I can do with the pdl's that aren't legal like United Cash Loans? Also, I received a collection letter from Netcashusa. I stopped paying on this account when they said I owed hundreds of dollars for a missed payment that they messed up on. This was back in December 2007. I offered at that time for them to send me information only in writing and not to withdraw from my account which they never did and now I get the collection letter. Is there something I can do? Is there a step by step written procedure on the forum for what to do every step of the way. I have been reading a lot - but get confused when I don't know if I can do these in my state of Arizona. I appreciate your help - today was payday and I don't have enough money left over to pay rent.

AZ law requires internet payday loan companies to be licensed in our state (I am from AZ). If they are not licensed they are considered illegal and should not be lending to AZ residents. As stated above Cashnet USA is licensed as well as Cash Central. Both companies offer an extended payment plan but you need to call and make arrangements before your loan is due. If you need help just ask.

Thank you for your help - Now that I have answers for cash central and cashnet USA. If United Cash loan is illegal - what steps can I take to have them stop taking out of my account now? I have paid more than the principal I borrowed. If I can avoid closing my bank account that would be helpful.
Is there a list of illegal or non licensed pdl companies for each state? Also, is there something I can do about Netcash, they have sent me to collections and they are now calling me at work. Thank for for your time and knowledge.

You can try and put a stop payment on the ACH but that does not always work. Illegal lenders sometimes have sister companies and debt the account under a different name so the ACH block does not stop them.

Closing your account is the best way.

Most states have a license database so you can look up companies that have a license to lend.

Here is the main page. Linky. From there you can click on each state to get the PDL laws and the regulator and license data base links for each one.

I have never heard of NetCash. I will do some checking to see what I can find.

The collection company that is trying to collect on the Net cash loan is Integrity Financial Partners, Inc. 4370 W. 109th Street Suite 100 Overland Park, Kansas 66211 866-951-6719. Do you show them licensed in AZ?

My original loan was $500 taken on 7-30-07 - I had paid $150 every two weeks from 8/20/07-11/5/07 equal to $900. The collection is for $980 and they claim they will reduce it back to the original loan amount of $500 if I pay in full.

They are calling work and my home phone many times a day. The account that this was drawn on was closed because they continued to take out money when there wasn't any money in the account.

When I talked with the collection guy yesterday he said they would only take out by ACH and wouldn't accept anything else. I told him I didn't want that and he got really mad and said that he couldn't help me if I wouldn't help him...

I appreciate your advise.

The contract says they are Zip cash out of NM and are licensed in the state of utah, it doesn't say anything about being licensed in AZ - where I live and lived at the time of the loan.... it also says ;New Mexico law shall exclusively
apply to such disputes, regardless of where any proceedings are held.
But if they aren't licensed in AZ does any of this matter?

Thanks again!

Ironnenaz - Integrity is licensed to collect in the state of AZ, however they may not know that the pdl they are collecting for is not licensed. You need to send them a DV letter and you also need to let them know that since Net Cash is not licensed in AZ they are considered illegal and that makes the collection of the loan illegal.

Cashnet USA is legal but Net Cash is not.

Cash America Net of Arizona, LLC
200 W. Jackson Street, Ste 2400
Chicago, IL 60606
(312) 568-4205

This is how cashnetusa is licensed in AZ. The reason I posted this is so you see what I am talking about as far as what the name of the company is and sometimes how the name on their license is different. If you look at your loan docs for Cashnetusa this is what you will see.

Thanks! I looked through the whole contract and only saw references to Zip Cash ??? SFT, LLC d/b/a NetCash USA - no where does it state what you have listed above. How is one to know if they are one in the same if it's not stated on the contract? and why would they refer to being licensed in Utah when I live in Arizona?
