Bank of America sent my account to this collection agency NCO. NCO has been having me to submit $441 a month to clear up this account. They have had me to make up bogus check numbers so that they can pull money from the other account that I have. I was scammed by a bogus Sweepstakes check that was sent to me and I took it to Bank of America back in June, 2008. I ask to them to check and make sure the check was legit before depositing it into my account. Bank of America lied, released the funds to me then turned around and said the check wasn't any good. Turned around and sent me to NCO for collections to get the money back.

Of course BOFA is going to say it's ligit. It takes up to 4-6 weeks for these types of checks to actually clear if they do. I would be paying BoFA directly, I'd find out how much you owe Bofa. Nco has a history of inflating what you actually owe. With me, it was almost 100 dollars more. I knew exactly how much I owed BOFA, so I sent them a money order directly. You can contact BOFA and see how much you really owe and ask what address to send it to.

I would not give NCO any more money and try and work it out with BOFA
