Allright so i have searching this site for information after i recieved court papers against me from this law firm. I answered through my city court house that the amount was unjust and also included a debt validation letter. Neither of which has been responded too they sent me a settlement, only problem was i recieved it two days before the date they wanted me to start paying. So since i didnt take the settlement what do you think there next step or my next step for that matter should be. Should i DV them again? Or should i just sit back and wait?

Hi NEEDSHELP$, How long ago did you send them the DV letter?
Hi NEEDSHELP$,
How long ago did you send them the DV letter? Once it starts going to court, it's not wise to sit and wait. Double check everything. When are you supposed to appear?

Call the county courts and verify that it is a real summons, and what date you are supposed to appear. They may be trying to distract you so you don't show up in court and they can get a default judgment against you.
