Is Earned Income Credit exempt from BK?

I'm self employed in a declining Florida service based business as a sole proprietor. My business assets can be covered under the personal property exemption with no problem.
When I file 2008 tax return I expect a refund of approx $1600 all of which is earned income credit after self employment taxes being deducted. I have no withholding liability.
Isn't this exempt the same as disabilty, SSI, etc?
