I have read some mixed messages, is City View Cash legal and an installment loan or are they an illegal PDL? I am meeting with an attorney tomorrow and need to have all my illegal PDL's listed with addresses and I can't find an address for these guys and not sure if they are legal. (I am in MN)

They are located on an Indian Reservation.

From their website at the bottom in the disclaimer....

Quote:

Red River Ventures, LLC, is a wholly Native American owned business operating within the exterior boundaries of the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation, a sovereign nation located within the United States of America.

I found two listings for Red River Ventures.

Red River Ventures
1155 University Boulevard Se
Albuquerque, NM 87106-4320

Red River Ventures
6860 N. Dallas Parkway, Suite 200
Plano, Texas 75024
Main: 972-265-7946
Fax: 972-265-7995

I an not sure if either one is connected though.

I borrowed 300 dollars from them and they kept taking more and more money out of my account. I think total 900 dollars. I tried to contact them to find out what was going on and they never responded so I put a block on my account. They called to get a payment of two hundred more dollars. Should I pay them or not? I live in Alabama and it appears they dont have the right legally to loan people in alabama money? What should I do?

I am also having a similar problem-I borrowed $300 and to date they have taken out $680 so far and say that I owe them $260 still-I told them that I had no way of even contactng them because they had their # listed and it had been disconnected-it was only after I researched on the internet that I managed to find a number and get ahold of someone-she was very rude and told me that they were a very reputable company-I was so angry I finally just hung up on her-I called the bank to see about getting my money back and will block any other withdrawals they try to make!!!

Is City View legal in Oklahoma? I don't know how to figure this out. I borrowed $300 and they have now taken $720 from my account. I closed my checking account and now they are calling me at work. I told them never to call me but the man said he will call me everyday as he pleases.

City View is not licensed anywhere I believe but they say they have soverign (sp) immunity cause they are located on a tribe... something weird like that. City View used to call me everyday at work but not my cell, which is weird. I just ignore them, and when I do answer, I just say "You've already been paid" and hang up. Then email them a letter after each call. There calls will die down after about 3-4 weeks. I haven't heard from them in 2 months.

Seeing as they have a $90 rewnal fee every pay period which isn't applied to the loan amount. Is that legal? I thought the $90 was going to my loan.

kelli you need to secure your account asap! If not closing it, at least speak with your Branch Manager and have a hard debit block placed on it. Before you close your account, read this information at the link below. http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/close-account.html

Please do not let this pdl know you are going to close your account, until AFTER you have done it!

I closed it before my last paycheck, two weeks ago. Now they are just calling me at work even though I tell them not to. I'm just worried about the fact that I haven't actually paid on the loan but the $90 re-new (roll-over) fee. $485 worth. I didn't understand that before I took the loan out. But thank you for the advice.

Hello,
Given that I am located in Alabama, I want to know what legal actions can be taken against this company. They have taken an additional 300.00 from my account after the loan was paid in full. They are insisting that they are not responsible for the bank over drafts that they have caused me total 385.00 for just the bank fees and the 300.00 that they owe me and gave the run around for weeks saying that the bank should not have charged me so many fees for their own error. I did not authorize them to take this from my account. If they are not legal in AL what actions can I take.

1-866-824-0893
These people are PDL Ventures, LLC,
They will tell you what is going to be withdrawn and when. They have all the information..... Please find out and block your accounts. They will have to be closed because these scum bags will use another sister company and draw again!!!

I see that Biggest Cash & Red River are related. I've been trying to contact them for nearly 2 months to stop taking money from my account and I can't get a response via email, phone OR fax. Now their website is down! Is there anything I can do to stop this money from coming out?
