They are bugging me for Chase.

Rude, mean and nasty.


Send them a Debt Validation letter. In the letter also inform them that they are not allowed to contact you via telephone at all anymore. Have they sent you any letter? By law they have to send you a letter within 5 days of that phone call.

If you legitimately owe this debt they will not just go away, that will get you sued real quick..I have heard that CC companies are quick to sue.

Once they properly validate, figure out a payment arrangement you can stick to, and offer it in a certified letter....if they accept it, stick to it! (get the acceptance in writing). If they do not, then keep the letter and the receipt for that letter and try again in a few months...that way if they do sue you, you can show the judge that you tried to offer payment arrangements but they refused it.
