I finally received a letter from One Click Cash regarding a refund! The only reason that I received this was due to the fact that I involved the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Basically they charged me illegal fees totaling over $1000.00 on 4 loans that I took out from them last year.I paid all of these fees and when I discovered that they were indeed illegal and that One Click was not licensed to conduct business in the state of Ohio I contacted the Attorney General for help.I also contacted the FTC ( who actually only noted my complaint , The Nebraska Better Business Bureau, and the United States attorney's office.

The settlement offer was supposed to be sent to be back in Feb 09 , however it took until today to get the letter from One Click Cash. They are offering me and several other people in my state only a $100.00 refund!!!! I feel this is insane.
My question is whether or not I should sign the papers for the settlement. If I sign these there is a agreement at the bottom of the letter indicating that my acceptance of this settlement is taken without any admission of wrongdoing on their part.It also states that if I accept this is an unconditional release of any an all claims against One Click Cash. I called the FTC to ask whether they were indeed investigating this company and they advised me that they didn't know if they were or not!? My next question was if the person I spoke to didn't know who at the FTC would know. He actually said no one ! I mean that is absurd!

Does anyone think that I should accept this settlement or continue to wait it out and see if the FTC is in fact investigating this and can get me more of my money back?
Any advise would be appreciated!!
