pdl payments?

I just recently closed my acct so that the fees would stop. my cu even called me to ask me if I wanted all of the ach's trying to come through sent back as closed acct and they did. so why am i getting emails saying they received payments? ie evn checked a couple sites and it has my info updated as getting a "payment" which is just the finance charge anyway.

From my experience, if you have a history of paying them on time, (usually on a Friday) it can take up until Wednesday for them to be able to confirm the payment was returned for a closed account.

Yep the transaction will be returned by TUE or WED and then you will start to receive calls. The banks don't process on the weekends.
