Payment agreements with payday lenders a bg joke!

I had arrangements in writing with Rio Resources and on Friday afternoon a Cindy called my husband place of employment and stated that she was calling from United Legal Corporation and she was an attorney. They immediately notified my husband and he called me with the number and I tried all afternoon to get in contact with her and no one would return the calls. From what I gather, they are just a collection agency with illegal collection tactics. This morning I faxed a cease and desist and a debt validation to them and am also going to mail it certified w/return receipt. I am also calling and getting all payday loans consolidated today. I have learned my lesson with payday loans. They are a means to financial ruins and should all be shut down!


what should i do? i'm also in debt with two payday loan places. How could i get out of this?

Welcome to the forums.

Contact your payday loan lenders and try to negotiate with them for a payment arrangement. They might extend some benefits if they can feel that you are serious in paying the debt.

If you feel that you cannot do the negotiation on your own, you must take some professional help.
