hi and thanks for reading my post.
so i am new to this website. let me tell you a little about my situation.
i have out 3 loans, PLS which is $400 and a store front. CashnetUSA $300, and Mycashnow$300, both internet sites. I am in IL.
From what i can tell about the advice on this website is that I should close my checking account. I should send the PLS a certifited letter telling them I am revoking the wage assignment.
Then what do i do next? I am happy to pay but not such a horrific intrest rate. Any suggestions on who i should contact within the company to try and settle my debt for less.
I have a bad feeling about the companies that offer to settle the debt for you.
thanks for your advice

Hello and welcome. CashNetUSA is a legal lender, you will need to make payment arrangements with them asap. You didn't name the store front lender but if they are members of the CFSA you would be eligible for the EPP plan (Extended payment plan), and EPP will allow you to pay off the loan in four equal payments over a time period (usually on each payday), the interest should stop as soon as you sign up for the EPP, make sure you request this payment plan BEFORE you default, to be safe go into the store at least one day prior to you next payment sue date. MyCashNow, illegal.

PLS is a legal storefront lender in IL. I believe that they are diong installments loans in your area, but I'm not positive and you should contact them immediately. Cashnet is also legal and should be contacted immediately. You did not mention when you took the loans out and how much you have paid in interest?

FYI: Shazzers, you have an incorrect address for mycashnow. The are not in MKE, but out of the Caribbean.
