Cambece "Law Office"
Date: Mon, 03/16/2009 - 05:23
This is our first notice, but they are saying that we only have a "right" to a "7-day" response time in submitting a request for validation, or a "10-day" response in submitting a request over the phone. Oh, and by the way, the letter was written on the 9th, postmarked on the 12th, and received today, the 16th....7 days have passed....huh, coincidence? :?
The creditor is "CACH, LLC", which we have never heard of. My guess is that it may have something to do with Bank of America, but I could be wrong. If that's the case, this account has been passed around from collections agency to collections agency. Each time we send a debt validation letter, we never get a response, and the next thing you know....new agency and we start all over again.
Has anyone had any experience with this "law office", and care to share some advice?
Thanks! :-)

Wow! That's reassuring. I had done that last year with another firm, still haven't heard from them either. I'm sending out the validation letter tonight via certified mail. We'll see how it goes.
