since you live in NJ, none of these loans are legal. they are prohibited in your state. you overpaid on all of them but my main concern are the ones who just debited out of your account. i would secure your account asap.

What are the next steps I should take? What do you advise to do? Should I contact them? On some PDL I have contacted them thru email and they are telling me I still owe them and the interest is keep on increasing. They want payment on the same day. Should I stop contacting them? On some of the transactions on my old bank statement I can see phone numbers but on the rest there are no phone numbers listed? I know I am never going to deal with PDLs ever again.

i just saw this and can help on the d/b/a's.the loan shop is part of geneva roth.int'l payments is part of sjm.don't know about the other two,but know this alot of places have more than one d/b/a.as fsr as your bank account.either put a hard block aka deposits only or close it and open a new account.
i would go in person to your bank and explain what is happening.
i would go in person to your bank and explain what is happening. tell them about the debits you did not authorize and tell them you do not want anyone to be able to access your account. simply blocking them will not work as they will find ways to go in. try to see if it can be closed (some banks allow ach to push closed accounts back open). if it can not be permantely closed, make sure a hard block (deposit only) is put on. if the bank says it cannot be done keep pushing and asking, it can be done and you are allowed to do it (my bank gave me a hard time).
once secure send c & d letters out and tell the companies you have overpaid. report them all to the attorney general and ftc. please let us know how we can help.

also, i would stop all verbal communication with them. after reading paul's post, i think i know what happened. when you emailed them to tell them you want to stop payments or whatever they panicked and started taking money out from different names (they are known to do this, geneva roth is evil, seriously). these loans are not legal and you have overpaid on every single one. please go to the bank asap, this will soon be over for you.

I have filed on BBB and put a complaint out on Biggest Cash and USFast. Are there other places I should put a complaint out there? Should I advise them about what I have done or just stop all communications will all the PDLs. Is there anyone who can provide the addresses on the other PDLs. I am having a hard time locating their addresses.

A complaint was received from you via fax and email regarding a loan you had applied for from Loan Shop Online. I appreciate your patience and cooperation as we are attempting to reach an agreement to close your account.
You received a $300.00 loan on November 26, 2008. This was meant to be a short-term loan but I understand that you may have not been in a position to repay the full balance all at once. I apologize for any frustration you have experienced throughout your repayment process. I believe it is in the benefit of both parties to waive your current remaining balance, to close your file as ???Paid in Full???, and to cease any attempts to debit from your account for extension fees in the future.
If this is agreeable to you, please sign and fax the attached release at your earliest convenience. Please retain a copy for your records. The attachment to this email is a release agreement that indicates you have agreed to end your dispute by having your account closed immediately.
Your account will be closed IMMEDIATELY upon receipt of the attached release form and you will no longer be held responsible for any balance in connection with this matter.
There absolutely will not be any collection activity taken against you and this email is meant to confirm that in writing.
This email and the attached release form combined are written records that neither of us will continue to dispute the matter with the other. You will have no future obligation to make any payment regarding this matter.
My contact information is included below so, if you have any questions or concerns about the release or any other matter regarding your account, please feel free to contact my office anytime.
Sincerely,
William Mashburn

cmannin- what you have provided was very helpful. Can you help in drafting a letter so I can send it to each of those payday loan companies. I did go to signmyloan.net dba cashadvance.net on some of them but I am not sure which PDL was under that.
Can anyone help me in locating the addresses or email for these PDLs? I want to resolve this and end this nightmare I have gotten myself into. I thought this was going to help me with my financial situation but it actually made it worst. This was the worst decision I have ever made.
In the future I will never do this again. If anyone gets to the point of considering a PDL please do not go thru it. It will put you more into a hole. Please reconsider other options.
If this is your last resort please research the PDL company and make sure they are legal.

Thanks for the website. Can they send me to collections or garnish my wages because of these PDLs?

You can ask one of the Debt Samaritans.... they have helped me a lot so far.

The PDL company has to be LEGAL and LICENSED to garnish your wages. Because to garnish your wages there must be a court order from a judgment. This will require the PDL company to sue you to get that order/judgment. If they are ILLEGAL they do not have a leg to stand on.
Now there has been instances in the past where an ILLEGAL PDL has gained a default judgment and have been able to attempt wage garnishment. This is a high risk for them to take, being that it will cost them more to go to court in fees over a $300 loan. So it would be a big waste of that ILLEGAL PDL's time, especially if they are UNLICENSED to lend.
A PDL can send what is called a "wage assignment" to your employer for your wages. This can be detoured by revoking all and any wage assignments in a simple letter to your payroll dept and the PDL compnay. Wage Assignments are VOLUNTARY and can be revoked at any time. So be sure to draft a letter ASAP and send it off. Hope this helps :)

anyaroberts is correct, please do not worry. because these loans are not legal, there is nothing that can be done to you. morally, all you would have to pay back is what you borrowed and that was already done several times over.
they will probably send you to their in-house collections, but again this means nothing as they cannot pursue legal action towards you.
i live in NJ and have had trouble with payday loans and this board has really helped me 100%.
