I am being sued by a 3rd party collector for capital one. I do not want t ignore this and recieve a default judgement. Can I send a debt validation letter? I am in Lousiana.

if they filed suit and you were served then validation now is not an option.you should request validation during discovery.answer the summons and someone from your court clerks office should be able to help you there,but answer the summons.
