Bankruptcy and My Credit Report

I have run my annual reports. My bankruptcy is due to fall off in 2018 (just filed it) but the accounts that were included on my bankruptcy are still on the report with fall off dates of 2011 and 2012 etc.
Why aren't they removed if they're on the bankruptcy?

They will be on the reports with a balance of $0. If they are not showing up as $0, dispute with the credit reporting agency and include a copy of your discharge papers.

This is one of those cases where you can't have your cake and eat it to. The creditors included in your BK have the right to report as derogatory tradelines for 7.5 years from the DOFD or date of discharge whichever is earlier. As long as they show a $0 balance and a "Discharged in BK" notation, they are well within their rights.
