Out of state Judgment

I checked my bank account this morning and there was $9000 taken out. This of course took my account way negative. I called the bank and they said it was for a judgment that was issued in Florida 9 years ago from a car repo. I currently live in TX. From what I can tell from TX law they need to file a judgment here and they have not. Bank of America told me since they are a nationwide entity, TX law doen not apply.
Please is there anything I can do? I have already cancelled my direct deposit but now I have no money for my family.

Do a Google search for UEFJA. The FL judgement must be domestic
