What do I do? I have paid off my payday loans and have letters of confirmation of proof. I'm told I borrowed this money Oct.2,2007. I had this guy tell me that I closed my bank account and was commting fraud. I told him that I didn't close my account, my bank did. I told him that I don't have any paperwork that indicated this BMG Payday loan company. He said that this loan was taken out in Oct. 2008. I told him there was no bank account in 2008 because of the payday loans my bank account was closed by the bank and I had to pay back over $2,500 to the agency and all the other fees and finance charges to the payday loan companies. I told them to listen to me and I read off the payday loan companies that I had paid off and I told them the names of the managers that I paid my balances in full with confirmation letters. They told me that they didn't care and I was running away committing fraud. I tried to call the number that came up on my phone and it doesn't exist. 952-992-6315. I asked for them to give me the number of the company that is filing this act against me and they were hesitant with me. I can't understand these people as they have very heavy accents and are rude and speak so you can't get a word in edge wise. Please advise who do I talk to? I'm getting a call from supposedly Officer Sam Nelson ,phone number 646-289-8297 or 646-289-8290. Please investigate this business. voice mail left on my work phone as company being Bahamas Marketing Group.

Welcome to the forum tuffdivadancingdiva,

First off stay calm. Bahamas Marketing Group is an ILLEGAL PDL so ignore them at all costs. They are not even located in the US. The calls you are receiving sounds like a company that is infamous for this type of behavior. Read this post for more info.

Second it sounds like they are using registered US numbers to contact you. This is common with ILLEGAL lenders, so they cannot be located. This is a SCAM and you have nothing to worry about. You will not be charged with fraud. That is their common scare tactic used on all unsuspecting consumers.

Third your loan was PIF in 2007, and these morones call you on a loan you didnt even have in 2008. SCAM. Give them the dial tone and do not lose sleep over them
