American Debt Settlement

Hi Edward,

This post is the only one that comes up when I search for "American Debt Settlement". I also looked in Google - they are a member of TASC, must be a new company. None of their clients has admitted such on this board. There are also like 3 or 4 companies with those words in their names.

BTW, I just read the Disclosure Statement required of TASC members and I must say that I really like it. If only other debt settlement companies were so honest.

It is an Arizona based debt consolidation company. I think that before enrolling yourself in a debt settlement program you should check whether the company is IAPDA certified or not. IAPDA certified companies have professionally trained staff members who can help you out more efficiently with your debt settlement.

Thanks for your input. I thought I was signing up for this forum, but turns out I signed up for some debt companies to call me. Wasn't what I was expecting, though.

There are 2 ways to sign up on DebtCC - one is just for the Community, and one for the referral service.

Actually, IAPDA does not certify companies, they certify people. So if you see the IAPDA logo on a settlement company website, double-check the IAPDA website to see how many employees are certified.
