Been there, done that, still working thru it!! It really is such a hard cycle to break, and definately a coslty one. Over the last 4-5 years of going thru it, I've definately learned a few things. In the beginning I handled them with little responsibility or understanding. I don't condone them, but understand why people like myself turn to them in a time of need. I've got a couple that I still use as needed, but I understand them more and know when and how to use them, the full pay back amount loans being in my opinion, the best to use, as to not get in that whole paycheck by paycheck payback, with the whole paydown amount kicking in on top of the renewl fees, which eat up more of you money that you could definately be using yourself! Good luck to anyone in these situations. Be wary of old debts, that may have been paid off, coming back to haunt you in the way of credit collection agencies that may have received you information. :x
