As far as I know, there is no such news that the debt settlement on credit card debt will be stopped in future. However, the credit card companies have already started to monitor and check the credit limit on the cards to minimize their risk. These companies are now not only considering the credit score to determine the credit limit but also taking into account your employment status and your income in determing the limit
on your cards.

i honestly never see settlement being stopped.?? Frankly the cc companies need it and want it even though they are agressive about it.?? Even if you use a settlement company or settlement program the cc companies still come out on top.?? If there was no settlement everyone would file bk, and they would either get nothing, or a very small amount over a long period of time.
