Do these people ever stop calling you? I had a loan that defaulted because we are working with Town & Country on consolidating but this woman, Suki Hilton, from Sonic won't stop calling. I sent a cease & desist letter and even had someone from Town & Country call them. We have made 1 payment to them and are planning on paying them back end of January/early February but have not told them that yet. I wonder if they've stopped calling others? I am going to pay them just not right now.

Sue

Have you given them the number to Town & Country. T&C should have given them their number as a "contact" for you. Actually no contact should be made if they agreed to accept payment through a debt consolidation company.

Just be sure to keep documentation of any calls that come through to you. I know it may seem stressful at times, but ignoring them only gets worse. They'll hit the no contact button, and try to place a call later in the day. If after telling them that you've sent a cease & desist letter and the calls are still getting bothersome, perhaps you should tell your debt consoldation rep. They should be taking care of this anyway.

Regards-
Mike

Yes Sue,

Talk straight to Suki Hilton and let her know that you have already made the first payment towards the account and intend to make another one next month.

BTW, the consolidation company should give you a statement of the payment made to Sonic. Have you received it from them? This statement will prove your efforts made towards the account with Sonic. If not, please place a request for the statement. You can also place that request to Sonic too.

Keep in touch with your consultant. Although Sonic and many other companies keep contacting the consumers until they have received a few payments. The calls come to an end after some period of time. But, you can always make efforts to stop the calls at an earlier period of time.
