find out how long it takes before they actually pay your creditor.. most places will hold your money and then wait till your deep in w/ the CC company and then try to settle , if its refused they will not pay and wait longer.. trying to gain leverage.. and then ruins your credit, while your paying a monty payment for basically nothing.

how long is your program that you are signing up with? the reason why i ask, is because i signed a 2 year program around 20,000 in debt payments were around 400 or maybe a little more.

it sounds about right, but you want to try to make your settlment plan 2 years or less to avoid getting sued
