pdl worries

I have 3 outstanding pdl from 1 1/2 years ago: 1 Cashnet, 2 PaydayOne..all 3 internet pdls. I have paid these people over and over for a couple of years, paying them off and re-borrowing. Everytime I paid them off, I ended up paying double what I borrowed...then had to borrow again because just paying them off left me broke and in need of cash. And I'd pay them off (again losing double) and so on and so on. As part of this vicious cycle, last year I re-borrowed, $800, $1000, $1000 and circumstances came up where I could not pay any of them back and I closed my checking account. Now, I'm getting calls from them. I can't honestly say that I want to pay them back because they've gotten so much from me in the past, but the truth is I can't afford to pay them back and keep my house and feed my family. I realize I got myself into this mess, but they've all ready taken so much from me. I live in Texas. I'd like to be rid of them and pay them off, but I can't honestly say when I will be able to do that. How much time do they typically give you before things start getting really ugly?

Both of those companies are legal.
I would suggest you contact them and try ans set up some arrangements, even if it is $30 a month.
If they won't except them get the main corp address and mail the MO with your loan numbers. Keep copies and track if the MO is cashed.
At least if they do ever take you to court you can prove you have attempted to pay them back.

I agree completely. With PayDay One, I just told them I could only afford $30 a month for the time being and that I hope to afford more in the future.
But I agree with nohiogal. Worst case scenario, if they take you to court, you can prove that you have been paying, even if it's not what they want you to pay.
Thanks so much for your insight. I appreciate the suggestions.
Thanks so much for your insight. I appreciate the suggestions. I'm stretched pretty tight right now, but will try and come up with a game plan to pay something each month. I think what hurts me the most is all the fees I've paid over the years. At the time that I needed the money, all I could think of was that I had to get the light paid or the car radiator fixed. Now, in hindsight I'm dying inside because I know I've paid what I owe and so much more out of desperation. That vicious pay and re-borrow cycle can kill a person's spirit.

It sure can kill a person's spirits!!!! It's been all I can think about. Looking back, for the past few months, I've paid about $1500 per month for fees and non-sufficient fund fees to my bank bc I HAD to pay other bills and I just could not handle the interest fees. Which is why I kept borrowing more money, to pay the interest on the other loan fees.
It might be time to consider revoking your ACH authorization, giving yourself a break on payments for one pay period, and then arranging payment plans.
