My husband and I took out a payday loan in September of 2006. We were called at work and at home for 3 monthes. After the loan company callod my husband's boss and told him " HOW CAN YOU EMPLOY SCUM LIKE THIS IN YOUR COMPANY " we paid off the $430 loan with a $700 payment. that was in january of 2007. 2 weeks ago we started to get calls at work and home again from the same man saying that we did not pay a penalty fee of $250. Now with intrest we owe $1245! We paid them $250 more at that time but they still won't quit calling. Now they are saying that if we don't pay the rest our wages will be attached! Can they actually do that? How do I stop the calls?
