Hello
I have unpaid timeshare, which was passed to a collection agency in the us. The time share is in Mexico, Collection Agency in US and I am canadian citizen, leaving in Canada. What are the chances that the collection agency will be able to collect the money from me. What does the law say about it? What is the general practice? Can they contact my employer, bank or canada reveue agency for purpose of collecting the money owed. Also can they ruin my credit record (in Canada).
Thank you for your help.
