Hi!
Does anyone know if Red River is the same company as Together Cash? Together Cash has stopped taking money from my checking account and instead there is a new company taking the same amount by the name of Red River? They're taking $120 out. I believe they are illegal in Arizona? Thank-you!

I had a loan through Outback Bucks, and when they withdrew from my bank account, it showed that Red River was withdrawing the money. Maybe Red River goes with many names???

Last week, I called for a balance due and they quoted me a higher amount due than my calculations. I argued this, asked to speak with a supervisor who was rude and treated me like I was a low life for having this loan. I hung up on him.

On Friday, which was not a scheduled payday, they took out the remainder of the loan (good thing we had money in our account to cover this!). Although I was surprised for the sudden withdraw, I was pleased that they took out the amount that I figured to be my amount due.

When I called to verify that I was indeed finished with this loan, the lady said that "since I had threatened to not pay anymore" they took out the money. I had never threatened to not pay, the supervisor took that upon himself to assume that. This will just go to show that they will do anything to get their money.

I hope the people who work for these companies can sleep at night, they are just preying on people who are in bad situations. I bet there is a special place in Hell for them.

Melissa

How am I supposed to set up payment plans w/them if they don't answer my emails and I can't get them on the phone?!?

I finally spoke to someone, they claimed they never rec'd the emails I sent, which I sent like 5 or 6 in the past 2 weeks. They said they would only hold off on one rollover finance charge and still charge me $390 when I should only have to pay back the principal.. I told them they were illegal in my state and he then got on the phone w/his "supervisor", but they would only do one sum in the payment of $390 for 5/1.. I contacted the DFI for some help w/this one but have yet to hear back..

My account is secure.. I didn't tell them anything regarding what I did w/my acct.. I emailed them at customerservice@togethercash.com and the # I reached them at was 1-866-668-9414. They are operating as Red River Ventures... I told them I wanted to do a money order and he told me some bs that said they don't accept money orders anymore, and then I wanted to do a payment plan and he said that their system doesnt allow payment plans.. It's a bunch of crap!

WOW!
They also have many addresses. They are in Nevada, SD and Utah. I'm in AZ. I filed a BBB complaint that originated in Nevada...I thought they were in SD, atleast that's that's the "address" they screamed at me, That complaint was sent to Utah. They are working on it. Nevada eluded to the fact that there had been several such "forwards".

I have faxed twice, and emailed cease and payment address requests. They continue to call and I have taped the harrassing HORRIBLE phone calls. I faxed the second time to explain that I did NOT say I wasn't going to pay. I said I would pay the principal when they provided me with an address. They haven't and they continue to try, with different names, to debit my frozen account. Have a fraud complaint filed with the bank. Also, contacted the FTC.

THIS OUTFIT IT UNBELIEVABLE!! Really pissy woman keeps leaving answering machine messages. Slippery snakes. Sorry snakes, no offense!

Lesson learned...

I have a loan with together cash. Now they are attempting to debit under Red River. I talked to my bank, they are "supposedly" investigating as I did not know who they are. Now I see today that Together Cash tried to snag money too! What the hell?

Red River has many names. Together Cash is one of them.

They also got by Biggest Cash and City View.

They use the alias names when they cannot get the ACH to go through for the original lender name.

They are illegal. My best advice to you is to close your bank account. They will keep trying under every name they have until the bleed your account dry.

I closed my account recently because I was losing all of my pay check each week. Just before i closed it I noticed Red River deposited $200 into my account. I NEVER applied for this loan and in fact haven't applied for a pay day loan in months from anyone. Do I consider this money a gift?? That account is closed and was being closed due to old payday loan issues. I never asked for this loan and no one has contacted me yet concerning it and its been 3 weeks.

In no way this is a gift unless you requested a refund from this compnay for overpayment:? Have your bank reverse the transaction and return it to their proccessor ASAP!
