Update: I looked at the Florida Dept of State, Division of Corporations website. I did a search on Ellis, Crosby & Associates. When I click on their name it comes up with The Offices of Anthony Galloways & Associates, Inc. Their main address is 17 E 43rd St Jacksonville, FL 32208. It says this changed on 10/17/05. Also, it says the mailing address is 4320 Deerwood Lake, Suite 503-101 Jacksonville, FL 32216 this also has changed on 10/17/05. Also on the same page is says the Last Event on this company was an Amendment and Name Change on 10/17/05. I just thought this information would be helpful for some. Including myself b/c I did get a call from Anthony Galloway. I will be sure to send them my debt validation letter.

Apart from this one, there are many other threads on this company. You will locate all of them by putting a search in this forum.

It is also heard that the company is using another fake name, i.e.. Taylor James and Associates to cheat people. So, be careful if you ever hear by this name also.

Although, the company is posing with new names but the scare tactics are all the same. Never forget your consumer rights while dealing with this company. They have been successful in scamming a lot of people but if you are updated about them, you will be able to deal with them with a strong mind.
