We were about 16 months since last payment.?? AMEX does not sell their paper.?? They assigned the account to probably 4 or 5 different CA's over that period.?? The suit was filed on behalf of AMEX by 3rd party CA/Attorney office.?? had to document income and actually had a somewhat motivated rep at the CA that was willing to work the deal a bit.??

My Amex was at Nationwide, then GC Services, then another place and now back at Nationwide. I think they just keep going around them until you pay someone.
