I think that you can go for debt consolidation companies who are members of International Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators. IAPDA certified companies have professionally trained staff who can help you out efficiently to solve your debt problem.

IAPDA does not certify companies, they certify people as "Certified Debt Speci-alists". If you are speaking with a debt settlement firm that has the IAPDA logo on their site, check the IAPDA site to see how many people in that firm have the certification, and verify that the person you are speaking to is one of them.
