Has anyone heard of this company? I've search several websites and doesn't seem to be many people that have dealt with them. They have been calling me for several months now. They have yet, to send dunning letter. I haven't answered their calls since the first couple of times that they called.

Hi Guest,
..
Yeah there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on them. They are required to send you that dunning letter within 5 days aftewrw they receive the account in their office. I would never talk to any bill collector until and unless I already received that letter. Get your credit report right away (www.annualcreditreport.com) and double check it. If it's on there, dispute it via the CRA dispute process. Keep in touch, let us know how it works out.

I have gotten my credit report and they are on there as an inquiry, but nothing else. When they first started calling I told them that I would not discuss anything with them until I got the written notice, one rep. tried to tell me to go to a grocery store etc and ask to use their fax so that this company could fax me the written notice, and I told would not go ask to use someones fax, that just let me know that they never sent it. I have pretty much ignored them for the past several months. I was just wondering if anyone else had dealt with this company. Thanks for reply Chrys. I will let ya know how it works out. I'm going to have to come up with a name to use on this site, instead of just Guest.

It's me again, this Apex continues to call me, and I still have never received anything from them. I called them today and asked if they owned the account or if they were collecting on behalf of someone else and they said that they owned the account. I asked why I have never received anything from them, and they keep telling me that they have sent letter to my address. I know I owe the debt, but I just don't know why these people won't send me the info in writing. If they really sent it, they think I'm lying, but I really don't think they have sent anything. I don't know what to do about them.

I defaulted on a washington mutual I'm sure thats what they are trying to collect on, but they started calling me back in December and I still have never received anything from them. That is very interesting that the phone number comes up under Procare Services inc.

I do want to try and get all my stuff straightened out, but at this point I have no ideal who's on first. I've made a mess out of several of my cards. Things are starting to get back to normal for me and I feel like I'm getting to a place that I can start to work on paying some of this off. I just want to make sure I'm paying who I'm suppose to pay.

I called the number on the back on my card, this was originally Washington Mutual, they sold to SST, when I defaulted it was with SST, so that's the number on the back of my card, I asked if they still had the account or if they could tell me who had it, she said she would connect me to NCO, well when someone came on the line it was Apex, so I guess they are the ones that have it.
