This company is a joke. They will not send me anything that shows I owe the debt. I never ordered anything from the original creditor. They told me I needed to pay the bill and then they could send me proof. I have reported them to the BBB, Federal Trade CommissionÂ and plan to take further action if needed...They also told me that they would charge me for talking to me on the phone.
They called me at work and I told them not to call me at work anymore as Florida law prohibits it and they told me they would call me everyday.

File a dispute via the CRAs whose credit report this alleged debt shows up on. The CRAs are required to investigate and validate or remove the mark. Then, you'll have more power to file a very serious complaint with the FTC as they are hot on the trail of inspecting the dispute resolution processes of the CRAs. (www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov)

Here is a thread about Takhar Group. You know, these American-owed debt collection companies are bad enough but these foreign companies *really* don't give a dime about us and our consumer protection laws and just try to run roughshod over us.
