Actually it's not illegal to use a alias as a debt collector as long as it registered which is a very easy process, all paperwork.

i got a call from the "da network" a couple weeks ago and like everyone else thought that meant the district attorney office. come to find out its an "a.k.a." for them and is also put on there license like that. is that allowed or do they have to put all names that they are known by? i feel stupid for thinking they were the district att.like everybody else but atleast i know now. anyway i made arrangements so thats the only question i had.

**********DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY**********

This is from a previous employee of this company

The D A Network in Buffalo has only been open for months. They are not licensed to collect in any state. Their employees are not certified for FDCPA. From day one you are instructed to threaten legal action, but they have no attorney on retainer or employeed, don't even have access to debt validation, and have no money in which to pay an attorney. They can't even pay the commissions they promise there employees. CEO Charella Sagere closed her Hertel st location in a attempt to dodge a summons for violations from a real attorneys office and is running a home operation, having her employees call from their cell phones. Every account worked, the employees are instructed to inflate the balance due by over double of what the already inflated balance is. Don't be suprised if you are told to pay several thousands for a payday loan (their only portfolio), for a account that was $150 a yr ago.

*********RECORD AND DOCUMENT EVERY CONVERSATION*******

Simply be calling you, they have made several violations, each requiring $1000 per as well as civil amounts....and that's before they even open there mouths. Consult with a consumer attorney or the district attorney. File the complaint against the CEO because like I said, Hertel st just has a empty office. She lives right around the corner.

Best of luck and hope you can forgive me for working for such a company.

re: to real agency owner-i checked with the new york secretary of state office as directed from my attorney and they are fully licensed with them. i checked with my bank to see if there was a problem with my checks i authorized and they went through fine. i called ms.sager and she emailed me a letter alond with the validation of this payday. i still wasn't satified so i called the broker who sold it he in turn directed me to the payday loan company i went through. needless to say i did my homework and am done with this debt and this company. thank you for your help.

DA Network has been calling my cell/home/work on the hour of every hour. Leaving me aggresive messages of being sued if i dont take care of this problem. They say i owe $1700.00 and if i pay by friday the amount will be reduced to $500.00 paid within 60 days of course. I got a voicemail from a Mr.Blackwell stating he was coming to my house or work to have me sign legal documents. Can they actually sue me for $500.00? I ve been doing research and so far this company sounds like a scam? I dont know what to do..i dont want to go to court ....need help and advice please

no because.anyplace that has to threaten arrest.which fraud is a crime and the person would be arrested.they are not a legit collector.with all of the ID theft out there.it's not enough anymore to ask those questions.the collector should have no problem sending at least something in writing detailing the debt.threatening calls don't cut it.

Not sure if anyone still checks this, but i am so glad I found this site. Sager's story changes everyday and nothing she tells me can be verified. I've received nothing by mail and can't confirm that she is licensed-she told me she works as a mediator for the Lynton Capital Group, well that's the second story because originally she told me she was a lawyer with the DA Mediation Firm...I don't have a problem clearing any debt, but I won't give my financial information to someone I can't verify!!! Be Careful!!!
