I received a stack of bank credit card statements from Mann Bracken as validity for the debt. Does this suffice or should I request a letter or contract they have with the bank.

Well, statements are a big part of validation. Look at them, do they lead up to the final statement or are they just random or from early in the account or in the middle somewhere? Does the amount on the last statement match the amount they are claiming you owe? If it does then it is pretty good validation. If it doesn't, then you can ask for further documentation, since you need them to prove that whatever extra they are charging is legal.
