Should I sign this since the terms are what we agreed, or is this a phony document?

that is basically giving them consent to get a judgement against you.DO NOT SIGN THIS!!!!!!!!they will get a default judgement on there terms.you want the agreement plus a guarantee that they will send you a PIF or a PIS letter once you pay.do not trust this bottomfeeder.

It sounds like they are trying to be sneaky with you. Inform them that you will not be signing any consent judgment, to send you the agreement as a basic agreement, with the stipulation paulmergel mentioned above.
If they give you any guff about it, then you know they were just trying to get you to sign that so they would have an automatic judgment against you and they are trying to be underhanded with you.
If they threaten to sue you, let them. Show the judge the consent judgment you got instead of the agreement you negotiated and that they refused to put the agreement in writing, so you refused to pay until you got the agreement.

I was sued by mann bracken.im may.2009(disc.plaintiff...) i got a wrong attorney !...telling me to settle with them, for full amount...i listened to him and did not send the validation letter...now i am in position of a stipulation and order for payment with judgement upon default they want me to sign it first...no signature are there...stamps or any other...they put discover as plaintiff...disc.charged off the account...

d.c - the stipulation means that they wont enter a judgment against you unless you should be in default of the payment arrangements. you've been sued and they are agreeing to withold a judgment with your payments. this is actually best case scenario for you - as far as actually paying. but dont default. i imagine if you are even a day late they will proceed to enter judgment and then garnesh your wages, bank accounts etc...

guest,do you really think that this bottomdweller will abide by this?they will delibrately post payment a day late or some other trick.alot of places like this haven't been to court yet.much less got a judgement.they are basically wanting the person to sign away their rights to a hearing, and let them get a judgement whenever they want.my original advice still stands.don't trust mann bracken.even if you have go before a judge.do it before agreeing to anything with them.in fact there are two class action suits against them for practices like this.don't be next.
