B of A Overdraft?

I recently began working with B of A on repaying an overdraft. I had been through collections, which is on my report. B of A at this point is not. Now that the CA is out of the picture (I think), and if B of A starts reporting, what would they report it as? Would the 7 year clock still go from the DOFD or is it all new?

Bank of America will report you to Chexsystems. Then they sell your account to CA agency. At that point you have to satisfy your account with them. If your account returned back to BOA, then they may possibly sell it to another CA. TRUST me I seen it happen.

Are you sure the CA returned your account to BOA. If they did I would definately try to pay BOA of before it is sold again.
Also I would dispute the old former CA who reported your collection account with the CRAs since they no longer hold the debt.
The best way to deal with BOA is to deal directly with the branc
The best way to deal with BOA is to deal directly with the branch manager. They will vary in ability and helpfulness from one branch to another but they have the power to override certain computer blocks. Make sure it is the branch manager and not an acting manager.
