has anyone had any luck with filing a complaint with the better buisness bureau?

That is always a possibility when you default on payments. They may use all resources to collect the debt. It sucks but unfortunatelly you cannot control when and where they will call. :?

You can give your family a heads up and let them know you are a possible victim of fraud and be on guard for any loonies calling them

i just recieved this response from BBB am i reading this right are they giving up?

At the time of the application the terms and conditions were presented and he had the opportunity to print them at that time. He had to answer a question whether he understood the terms before we could even receive the application to process. In addition, there was a 48-hour time frame the customer could cancel the agreement without incurring a fee. Before each debit we sent an account summary, which explained the terms once more, and all of the options for repayment. This form was emailed at least 10 days before each debit; it also included our customer service number to ask any additional questions. We also have a direct email link on our website to answer any inquiries. If the customer had wanted to avoid additional fees, they needed to pay the full amount due on the first debit due date, which was in the original contract, as well as the account summary emailed to the customer very shortly after the funds were placed in their own account, for their own use, at their request. The original loan documents can be faxed directly to the customer once we are given a fax number to send them to.

This customer was a repeat customer, and we have recorded communication from him to assert he does know our company, and purpose of collections on his account.

As a courtesy only, we will waive the remaining balance on this account, and close it permanently. No refund will be given, as all terms and conditions were followed.
Respectfully,
Compliance Department

I think accept and leave it alone . No need to poke it with a stick...lol

Make sure you print that out or copy and paste it into a text file and keep it FOREVER.

Illegals are known for selling off old debt and if months down the road some bottom feeder collection agency comes a long that bought up some junk debt you can bring that out to validate the debt was PIF.

just got off of the phone with the very same guy that i have had numerous phone battles that would include him telling me that they would never quit!!! until they got there money!!!! same guy that told me he wished he could come over and collect in person!!! same guy that called me a looser. The same guy had to tell me that the compliance department had closed my account in very very very soft and humbled voice.

Oh and i did make him repeat it as i giggled.....

I would like to say i have won but the fact remains they made a lot of money off of me and my stupidity, things are much better now but if they do get rough i know that a PDL is not the answer
