loan shop online

The loan shop online keeps e-mailing and calling me claiming that I owe them money. I have had a loan with them in the past (7/07); however, I do not believe I owe them what they say I do. I have asked them to send me, in writing, details on the amount of the original loan, any payments made, fees etc, to show how they are getting to the amount they are claiming. This has been going on for more than 8 months. They keep asking me to send them a notarized release in order for them to send me personal information. They will not say what is suppossed to be included in the release or anything. They just keep demanding a notarized release authorizing them to give me suppossedly "my" personal information.
ANy ideas or suggestions?

Ignore them. If they call, hang up, if they email, delete it.

Go on with your life.
It is on THEM to validate the debt, not you. Do not sign anything and do not agree to anything.

Thank you! I guess I'm nervous because I know I still owe them; just not what they say I owe, and I'm not paying anything without getting something in writing first. Has anyone else had this issue with them?
