Well, I lost my job just like everyone seems to be doing now. So "the calls" started coming in and I knew i had to take care of my obligations.
Midpoint helped me settle my Washington Mutual credit card for 20% off. It basically took care of the interest and late charges they put on. It kind of felt like i deserved it because banks are getting bailouts and i want mine.
They were pretty good even though it felt like they called 10x a day.

It is good to hear that you can settle the debt with Washington
It is good to hear that you can settle the debt with Washington Mutual for 20% less. But I think that was not a very good deal since you could have settled the debt to 40 to 50% of the outstanding balance under a good debt settlement program.
