UNKNOWN caller ID, UNKNOWN phone number

Well there is no number listed so there is nothing I can research. It is probably an auto dialer spazzing out..LOL!
Just ignore the calls if it continues. I used to get 15 calls in a row from an unkown number starting at 12 midnite for weeks. *ugh* :roll:

I agree about not being able to research the number. I did read someplace that it could be a bill collector using illegal collection methods, or it could be an offshore call, or it could be sales. In any of those they are using old PBX's that are blocking the caller info. I have noticed that the number of calls per day seem to be escallating. I just wondered if anyone had any experience with this type of call and might know who is most likely to be guilty.

I think I can do something about unknown calls through charter.net (our phone provider), but that would make some calls that I do want to get go away. I have just wondered if anyone else got calls like these and perhaps knew the originators.

Don't answer your phone if there is an 'Unknown' number. Another option is to (maybe?) just change your phone number. I had to do that at one time. Had ALOT of calls..'Blocked' or 'Private' numbers.
