I have been reading the threads for pdl's and this is what I have (I live in Illinois):

Ashland Lending: Borrowed 300 Paid 770
Arrowhead: Borrowed 300 Paid 1,150
Total Lending: Borrowed 300 Paid 1,130
Cash Supply: Borrowed 850 Paid 1,588
UpFrontPayday: Borrowed 300 Paid 480 (paid off)
Jet Lending: Borrowed 400 Paid 0
Impact Cash (& High Country?): Borrowed 550 Paid 520
Emerald Marketing: Borrowed 300 Paid 180
Payment Direct Online: Borrowed: 200 Paid 89
UpFrontCash: Borrowed 300 Paid 390 (paid off)
500FastCash: Borrowed 300 Paid 0
Loan Point (Geneva Roth): Borrowed 1000 Paid 1408

I looked at the list of licensees and did not see any of these on here. I have closed my account and opened a new one today. What is my next course of action? Thank you so much for your help! I haven't even looked forward to a payday for months!!

If you have determined they are all illegal you can go here and read up on the steps to take when dealing with illegal lenders.

You have already closed your account which is step one. The next is to send them all out letters telling them they are illegal/unlincensed and that you have already paid what you legally owe or that you are willing to pay the balance if there is any.

You only owe them the amount you borrowed. All fees or rollover charges you have paid go towards that amount.

I have sent letters to all of the pdls and was shocked that one responded the next day that they would "write off" the remaining of my balance. I have two companies that I already paid the principle amount and then some, but want to "settle" the account. 1) Should I agree to this if they are illegal and I have already paid double the original amount in interest 2) They refuse to give address and want me to Western Union the money. What should I do about these?
