CACV--not a Debt Collector?

CACV is trying to confirm an Arbitration Award against me in my local circuit court to the tune of over $18,000. The trial is set for August. I'm counter suing them on violations of the FDCPA. But get this...in their reply to my counterclaim, they're claiming that they aren't "debt collectors." Can you believe it? Ha, ha!
Not debt collectors!
But I realize that I must prove they are. Any suggestions about how to go about that? I'm drawing a blank on this one.

To show they are Debt Collectors under FDCPA simply go to FDCPA Section 806(6):
