help with payday loans in South Carolina

Check into cash $300- I have been renewing for the past 8 months
Check N Go 2 checks for $300 each for a total of $600- I have been renewing for the past 8 months
Due to circumstance with my soon to be ex husband I can not pay these any longer.
What happens if I defualt on these? What happens if i put a stop payment on the checks? I would want to put stop payment becuase I have direct deposit and I know that my bank would pay the checks and then I would have a huge negative balance and no way to keep a roof over my and my child's head.
I also can not do the EPP. I can not afford to pay the $135 in fees due this week much less 4 equal payments.
I wish I had the money to pay these.

If you do not pay the loans the creditor may debit your bank account in order to recover the debt. So I think that you should first close your checking account, the details of which you have provided while applying for the payday loan and open a new one.
Can you please tell me how much debt you owe to these two payday loan companies and how much have you already paid?

Both of these companies are legal and can take you civil court if you default.
I would contact the corporate of both places and explain your situation and see if any payment arrangments can be made.
With an EPP they usually do not require the first payment right then. With mine they let me wait until my next payday. So that can buy you another week or two depending on when you get paid.

I had one with Check into cash. I don't know about all of them,
I had one with Check into cash. I don't know about all of them, but I am in Columbia SC. I was told by an employee (a friend) to write them a letter(certified) telling them not to contact you or anyone else, and not to try to collect by coming to your house or job. Close your account or stop payment on those checks. They did call and harrass me and my references, but I called their corportate office and they quit then. They never took me to court or anything. That was back in '06. I just know what happened in my case.
